The TRAsh Collective is a group of artists based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Our public art work is designed to engage people where they work, play and live. Projects are realized using non-traditional sculptural materials such as “trash”, and we often collaborate with individuals, businesses and community organizations. Our work is fun and surprising while challenging commonly held perceptions of trash, waste, garbage, refuse, rubbish, debris and junk of all kinds. The TRAsh collective is guided by our belief in the transformative power of art to create positive change, and by the abundance of art making materials found in our environment.
